ICOMOS International Scientific Committee for Theory and Philosophy of Conservation and Restoration
10th Annual Meeting & Scientific Conference

The main objective of the conference is to examine theoretical and philosophical approaches to conserving urban heritage in cities where historic forms and meanings intersect with traditional practices and contemporary needs as places for living and working. Reflections on the principles of the Venice Charter and other normative documents including the Historic Urban Landscape Recommendation will be relevant in this context.
